| Registration Open for Spring Season | | | by

HYLAX is pleased to announce that it has opened registrations for spring lacrosse for girls in grades 1-6 and boys in grades 1-8. HYLAX will be posting preliminary schedules and information about equipment requirements over the next few days. Additionally, the HYLAX Parents Meeting (Thursday, February 9, 7 PM at Hudson High School A-211) will provide information about the upcoming season and the status of HYLAX. The HYLAX Board will be available to present info and answer questions.
Registration is online only through the HYLAX website. In order to register, players need an active membership with US Lacrosse through the end of the season. Since the HYLAX website is linked directly to US Lacrosse, parents can easily check on the status of US Lax membership. In addition to the pinnies provided to registrants in the past, HYLAX this year will be adding a spirit pack consisting of a shooting shirt and shorts. You will note specific questions regarding sizes for shorts and shooting shirts. Look for the orange registration button in the upper right hand corner to begin registration. Please register as soon as possible to help us determine coaching & equipment needs. Please note the deadlines and cutoff dates for individual programs. Information about scholarships is available under that tab on the website. Please email us with any questions or concerns.

Hudson Youth Lacrosse is hosting the annual Parents Meeting on February 9th, 2012, at 7 PM in Hudson High School Room A-211. This is the annual informational meeting where parents have the opportunity to meet the HYLAX Board, listen to a presentation and ask questions. The board will provide important information regarding status of the program, finances, updates, achievements, immediate plans and goals, and information about the 2012 Spring Season. Please plan to attend.

Hudson Youth Lacrosse and Hudson High School Boys Lacrosse will be hosting a Coaches meeting this Wednesday, 1/25/2012 (Meeting has been moved back one week to...) February 1, 2012, at 7pm in Room A211 at the Hudson High School. HHS Boys Head Coach Dave Blue will be speaking to us about continued program integration and alignment. We will then discuss numerous Hudson Youth Lacrosse specific topics as we prepare for the upcoming season.
Anyone interested in becoming a coach or returning as a coach should attend. We expect the meeting to last until apporximately 9pm.

Hudson Athletic Booster Club VALUE CARDS
In January of each year, HABC sells Value Cards throughout the community. These cards enable the cardholder to realize valuable discounts on goods and services offered by local merchants. These cards are valid for the entire calendar year (January — December). Because the discounts available using this card are so valuable, the sale of these Value Cards has proven to be quite successful.
All teams are expected to participate in this fundraiser. Team Reps will be responsible for assuring that the cards allotted their team are distributed and sold with monies returned to the Value Card Committee chairperson.
Earned Funds may also be realized through the sale of these Value Cards. For each Value Card sold, the team responsible for the sale will be credited $1 to their Earned Funds Account
